Susan has had a slight fever and is back on the ventilator to help her breathe.  She has been very tired today. Her kidney and liver labs appear to be better and still is a bit jaundice. She remains being feed by a feeding tube, although they will be attempting to get more nutrition into her system. A liver scan nor dialysis was performed today and neither was chemo, but her white blood cell count is still good. She is still responsive to verbal commands, opening her eyes more and nodding…but gets tired easily. Some pain still persists, but is enduring with little pain relievers. Her glucose levels and blood pressure are both good. As for the leukemia, so far with the tests that have been performed…they haven’t seen any spreading. But additional scans are scheduled. The good news is they haven’t found anything spreading with the current scans.
